Regarded as one of the most influential men in the UAE, Saygin Yalcin is a successful entrepreneur that has started a number of successful businesses and currently sits as the CEO of SellAnyCar.com, the first and biggest online car buying service in the UAE. He is also a social media influencer. While everything may seem to be working out well for the Dubai billionaire, it was not all rosy for the entrepreneur from the beginning.

The venture that really announced Saygin Yalcin to the world is SellAnyCar.com. The German businessman founded the company after selling Sukar. As of 2016, the company had already become the biggest marketplace for used cars in the UAE.
Like most other successful ventures in the world, SellAnyCar was conceived as an idea when Yalcin tried to sell his car online. He realized that the entire process was broken. He saw an opportunity to solve a major problem in the used car industry and decided to take it up. Staying loyal to his own style, Saygin decided to get all the information he felt was necessary for the idea. According to him, he researched extensively and conducted 50 expert interviews with the right set of people including potential sellers and potential customers. He had to spend months going through the information and doing the necessary calculations. After deciding that it was a worthwhile venture, Yalcin acted quickly. Once SellAnyCar was launched, the entrepreneur did everything necessary to nurture it and it became a success.
While much of the successes recorded by SellAnyCar can be attributed to the general idea and business model, the ingenuity of the founder cannot be forgotten in a hurry. This is probably one of the major reasons he is not just regarded as a business man but a sort of celebrity too. Aside from SellAnyCar.com, Saygin Yalcin is involved in other things too. He sits on the boards of other businesses. He also finds time to serve as a visiting instructor on entrepreneurship in the Canadian University of Dubai. The German entrepreneur of Turkish descent also has a very popular YouTube channel with hundreds of thousands of subscribers. The channel has several videos that offer advice on how to turn ideas and dreams to reality. It also produces the show ‘Startup Hero’ where selected viewers would have the opportunity to pitch their idea to Yalcin and other investors.
Saygin Yalcin is more than a successful businessman and social media influencer. He is an inspiration to all of us.
