Kanhaiya Sharma, born into a simple Brahmin family in Indore, has made a name for himself not just in Madhya Pradesh but across the country and the world in the field of hacking. At the age of just 14, Kanhaiya developed a software for a construction company and sold it for 50,000 rupees.
Kanhaiya’s father works as a priest in Indore and manages the household affairs, but his son, at the young age of 23, has established IT and legal software companies with a capital of only 251 rupees. Today, Kanhaiya’s turnover has reached millions of rupees. What sets him apart is that Kanhaiya is one of the topmost ethical hackers in the country, and both government and non-governmental organizations consider his hacking skills exemplary.
Software that Alleviates the Troubles of Laborers
When Kanhaiya was studying in the eighth grade at Sarafa Vidya Niketan in Indore, construction work was going on in the school premises. Kanhaiya would feel saddened by seeing the laborers running around to procure construction materials. He had an idea to develop software that would provide information about the location and quantity of construction materials to everyone involved, from the contractor to the laborers. This way, the laborers wouldn’t have to run around aimlessly. Within just 30 days, Kanhaiya developed a mobile application and sold it to the construction company for a mere 50,000 rupees. The company still uses that software to manage its construction work today.
The first time I failed the software exam, my father encouraged me by giving me 251 rupees.
Kanhaiya told me that he had been connected to the world of computers and the internet since he was in the sixth or seventh grade. In the seventh grade, he took an online certification exam and failed. He felt upset, and when my father saw his disappointment, he gave me 251 rupees and told me not to lose hope. With those 251 rupees, I started my work and established companies ranging from IT software development to providing legal services. Today, those companies have a turnover of millions of rupees.
There was no bike at home then, but today there is a series of luxury cars
Kanhaiya explains that when they were studying, the only vehicle they had at home was a bicycle. However, the 251 rupees given by his father performed such a miracle that now there are 5-6 luxury cars at home. My father didn’t give up his simplicity; even today, he lives in our old house. He hasn’t given up his priestly work either. He still goes to Indore city to perform religious rituals, recite scriptures, and conduct prayer ceremonies in people’s homes, just like his father, Pandit Mukesh Sharma.
The beginning of hacking
Kanhaiya’s friend lost his mobile phone and was very worried. Seeing his friend distressed, Kanhaiya decided to use hacking techniques to track the location of the mobile phone and find it. He traced the mobile phone and reached the person who had found it. Kanhaiya retrieved the mobile phone from that person and returned it to his friend.
Offers worth millions
Kanhaiya trains officials from several major government institutions in the country. Recognizing Kanhaiya’s hacking skills, many government and non-governmental organizations across the country have offered him positions. However, Kanhaiya turned down an annual package of 2.5 crore rupees and continued to focus on his own IT and legal work. When Kanhaiya goes to provide training in various government institutions, even high-ranking officers and IT experts are amazed by his hacking skills.
